Course Description
The Intro to Co-Teaching: Models module is a comprehensive learning experience designed to introduce educators to the different models of co-teaching. This module features recorded examples and flexible assignments that can be completed independently or collaboratively with a co-teacher. The high-quality content is crafted by experts in co-teaching, ensuring that participants receive the most relevant and up-to-date information. This module is just one in a series of Intro to Co-Teaching modules.
Course Goals
There is a single outcome for this module with several success criteria:
- I can evaluate and use co-teaching models to meet my needs.
- I can conduct a co-teaching needs assessment.
- I can use and identify the benefits of 'one teach, one observe.'
- I can use and identify the benefits of 'station teaching.'
- I can use and identify the benefits of 'parallel teaching.'
- I can use and identify the benefits of 'alternative teaching.'
- I can use and identify the benefits of 'teaming.'
