Course Description
Transform your classroom instruction with our comprehensive 'Advanced Differentiation Techniques' course, designed to equip educators with sophisticated strategies for meeting diverse student needs while promoting higher-level thinking. This dynamic course explores two powerful, complementary frameworks: Carol Ann Tomlinson's Differentiated Instruction model and Sandra Kaplan's Depth and Complexity Framework. In the first module, you'll master Tomlinson's principles for differentiating content, process, and product based on student readiness, interests, and learning profiles, while implementing flexible grouping strategies and designing supportive classroom environments. The second module delves into Kaplan's Depth and Complexity Framework, where you'll learn to integrate elements of Depth to deepen understanding, apply elements of Complexity to broaden thinking, and utilize specialized thinking tools that enhance critical reasoning. Together, these frameworks provide you with an advanced toolkit that enables you to create responsive learning environments where all students are appropriately challenged and supported in developing the sophisticated thinking skills essential for future success.

- I can apply the principles of Carol Ann Tomlinson's Differentiated Instruction model to create responsive learning environments.
