Course Description

"Roles & Responsibilities" is a comprehensive course designed to support paraprofessionals as they navigate their essential roles within the education system. Through a series of engaging BHSSC-created instructional videos, reflective exercises, and assessments, participants will gain valuable insights and practical strategies to enhance their effectiveness in working with students and staff. The course begins with an inspiring narrative of a paraprofessional entering the workforce, setting the stage for a transformative learning experience. Participants will explore best practices for providing guidance and support to students, fostering positive relationships, and contributing to a productive work environment. By the end of the course, paraprofessionals will be empowered with the tools and confidence needed to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the students they serve and the teams they collaborate with.
