Course Description

This self-paced course is designed to equip paraprofessionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to support students with Sensory Processing Disorders (SPDs) in educational settings. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the various types of SPDs and how they differ from one another.

Course Goals

    • "Understand the impact SPDs have on academic and social functioning"
    • "Learn effective strategies to address the different types of responses to sensory stimulation"
